These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Veloci platform. By using Veloci, you agree to these Terms.
You must be at least 18 years old to use Veloci. Renters must be at least 25 years old and hold a valid driver's license. By using our platform, you represent that you meet these requirements.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to update this information as necessary.
As a renter, you agree to: - Use the vehicle only for lawful purposes - Return the vehicle in the same condition as received - Comply with all traffic laws and regulations - Not allow unauthorized drivers to operate the vehicle - Report any accidents or damage immediately to Veloci and the host - Pay all applicable fees, fines, and tolls incurred during the rental
As a host, you agree to: - Provide accurate information about your vehicle - Maintain your vehicle in safe, roadworthy condition - Ensure your vehicle has valid registration and insurance - Be available to hand over the vehicle at the agreed time - Report any damage caused by renters promptly
Renters: You authorize Veloci to charge your payment method for the total booking amount, including the listed daily rate, a Veloci Service Fee of 10% of the listed rental price, and your selected protection plan. Example: a car listed at $1,000/day — you pay $1,100 (listed price + 10% service fee).
Hosts: You will receive 80% of the listed rental price via Stripe Connect within 2 business days of the rental start date. Veloci retains a 20% platform fee ("Veloci Platform Fee") deducted from the listed price. The renter's 10% service fee is separate and does not affect your payout. Example: car listed at $1,000/day — you receive $800 (80% payout after 20% platform fee).
Cancellations: Refund eligibility depends on the host's cancellation policy. Veloci's Service Fee (10%) is non-refundable once a booking is confirmed.
Every rental includes liability coverage up to $1,000,000. Additional coverage is available through our Basic, Standard, and Premium protection plans. Renters are responsible for the applicable deductible in the event of a claim.
You may not use Veloci for: - Racing, track events, or off-road driving - Commercial purposes (ridesharing, delivery, etc.) - Transporting illegal goods or substances - Any activity that violates applicable law
Disputes between renters and hosts should first be reported to Veloci support. Veloci will attempt to mediate disputes in good faith. Unresolved disputes are subject to binding arbitration under the rules of the American Arbitration Association.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Veloci's liability is limited to the amount paid by you to Veloci in the 12 months preceding the claim.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict of law principles.
